The collection consists of four letters to Richard Kopley and a photocopy of part of a collection of her letters, A web of friendship. The typed letters, dated 11 Sept. 1972-29 Nov. 1972, contain one-half of a discussion about her novel, The man who loved children, in which she replies to Kopley's analyses. The selection of letters from A web of friendship include these to Kopley, with others written during the same time period.
